The Censorship of India..

I have a lot to say to Mr. Sibal about this Censorship bill. So I have to take some time to write all the things (which I really cannot do in the day) so I want to leave you all with a thought..

Dear Sibal,

How about spending some time to google the Indian map? You get 3 versions of our map right? One from China, claiming that Sikkim as theirs. The world map claiming the crown of Jammu and Kashmir is part of Pakistan and our own version where we do have the crown of J&K and Sikkim. So, before you go all out to thrash Anna's movement of Lokpal bill and censor all the blogs, posts, videos, etc., kindly contact all these men and women exploiting our Map and ask them to use the correct version. Then you can wag your things in India about censoring our thoughts.

To be Continued...

Winter Wonderland..!

Looks like I am stuck in Bay area for some more months (or years!), so no white Christmas for me.. So when my friend said that she and her family are going to the Winter Wonderland, I decided to tag along. Though there were no snow, the lights were splendid! Hey, what is Christmas with out the lights? At time I think that Christmas is their form of Festivals of Lights like our Diwali.. And now I have a brand new HTC Evo Design, I was more than happy to click away at the lights and what else can I do than adding them here? So please bear with me for the next 40 something pictures. There is no other substance in this post.

The Lights were designed to look like fireworks falling from the sky..
Lights looking like Cherry Blossoms. Pity that I did not capture a close up picture.
Entrance to the Winter Wonderland.
The big Shoe house.

I think this is a Valentine Arch.

Have no idea as to what they are. But they were pretty cute.
If I remember correct, it is a Russian Cathedral.

My Birthday!!!

I am a December Baby and a pure Sag.. During my childhood days, I do not remember me having a birthday cake as my parents did not believed in it.. My birthdays (my star birthday) started with a hot shower and a trip to temple and lots of sweet.. My date of birth was more like flurry of wishes at midnight (after my 9th standard), new dress to wear to school (the only day we were allowed to wear color dress in school. College was a different issue, it was more like looking the most beautiful of the place), distributing chocolates to class mates and friends, having a fun time in all..

After I came to Buffalo, NY., my cake tradition started. Here I am now, celebrating my third birthday in USA, a lot of things have changed.. I did not go to a temple on my birthday as I was either reading for my exams or was sleeping soundly as I had pulled an all nighter the day before. Also, new dress on the birthday sounds laughable now. And I dont want to spend my birthdays alone anymore. I wanted some trustworthy friends around me who cared. Well, I got my wish :)

My current land lady has become one of my best friend I ever had and I am so so so glad that I moved in with her. Believe it or not, she knows what to say when I am sad, mad, happy or what not.. So, last Sunday, she was baking a cake to practice and I was sitting in the kitchen, tasting the ingredients. Half way through, she suddenly mentioned that I cannot eat it after she finished baking as she would be saving the cake for my Birthday. My mind froze. That was the first ever time someone is baking me a cake. I wanted to skip over and give her a big hug but hey, my mind was really really numb. So I just sat there looking at the cake being baked.

And it turned out really delicious..

The best part? It was completely gluten free! It even had a hint of rum because of the fermentation of brown rice flour used in it.. I simply loved it and would have finished the cake had I not already been stuffed with her mom's lovely cooking. To say least, I feel as if my dear friend, her daughter, her mom and dad has brought in a refreshing change in my monotonous life. I am grateful for that.

Last but not the least, my friend is maintaining a Gluten-Free blog and has been updating seriously tasty recipes for some time now.. Please visit her blog and show her some love..!

My life with Grey's..

I know that I will not be the first blogger to blog on Grey's. But I wanted to do it anyway. Mainly because I feel that the drama set in Seattle Grace is closely associated with me. If you see the viewer's comments about the show, you will understand that I am not alone. Almost everyone who is a fan of the show has one character with which they closely relate to. Be it Yang, Grey, Stevens, O'Mally, Shepherd, Burke, Bailey, Karev, Webber and I am just starting. When I first saw the show, I just felt them reaching out and making a connection with me. They are all beautiful candidates- No doubt! But they defy the usual rule that good looking people always have it easy. They go through their fair share of mishaps, heart breaks, joy and misery.
The first crew of main characters. From Google Search.
They too loose their sleep, work long hours, look like shit when they working double shift and loose their loved ones, win over the people they love, go through confusion, face problems and everything else we all go through in our day to day life. And the biggest thing that draws me to this show is how they manage to blend the technical and medical stuff with their day to day life and give it to people. So we get to watch a show we like and learn some great medical things in the process. Personally, I learnt a lot about medicine (well, more about diagnosis) and got to see how a ER in a hospital might look. And who ever is penning the script, the wise cracks and the catchy phrases for the show, I would like to meet you sometime in my life. 'Cos many of your work had not only made me double with laughter but had also given me the strength to push through my difficult times.

I have gone through times when I had little or no sleep while some ba*****s where trying their might to screw up my life. Every now and then I end up in a situation where I had to fight like hell to stabilize my stance. And through all these experiences, one phrase from Grey's Anatomy, uttered by Meredith stayed with me:

'Maybe we like the pain. Maybe we are wired that way. Because without it, I don't know; maybe we just wouldn't feel real. What's that saying? Why do I keep hitting myself with a hammer? Because it feels so good when I stop.'

How true!! Only the people who have struggled in the past or are struggling now will get this one. And just for this quote, Shonda or who ever wrote it, I would like to meet you. And I would like to let you know that it is terrible enough that you guys take a summer break, but a long winter break is too much too bad. Eagerly waiting for the Jan shows. Oh yea, I have attached some more pictures of the main crew below..

Another shot of the first main crew. From Google Search.

As for who I relate with in the show, it is Dr. Yang..

Last but not the least, here is the link to the list of quotes and funny phrases in Grey's Anatomy:

How true can Chetan Bhagat be?

Alert: This is not a post.. Just my thoughts..

When I read his book '2 States' when it was published, the (rather long) tag line of the book caught my attention:

Love marriages around the world are simple: Boy loves girl.Girl loves boy. They get married. In India, there are a few more steps: Boy loves girl. Girl loves boy. Girl's family has to love boy. Boy's family has to love girl. Girl's family has to love boy's family. Boy's family has to love girl's family. Girl and boy still love each other. They get married.

Believe me, it is exactly how things are in India. For a love to succeed (even in this forward thinking 21st century), the boy and girl have to be strong on their love for quite some time to get the above approval. If there are caste and state differences, the time can easily become years.. And mind you, only a fraction of these protests will be because of the boy and girl's parents. More than 90% of the shunning is because the parents think about the reaction of the relatives.

The relatives who never cared about that family other than for a gossip topic. I can understand if someone has to give up the love for their parents. But to appease the relatives?? Never! These relatives make fun of and shun the boy/girl till they have wrought a career for themselves. When the boy/girl is successful, these same relatives starts to swarm them to ask favors. And this is the exact reason that I cannot accept it if someone has to change their decision to make these chameleons happy. 'Cos the relatives are going to shun them once they get their favors fulfilled..

And in the years the boy and girl fight for their marriage, sometime in between, they forget that they loved each other and concentrate more on fighting for each other AND fighting for each others' family's reputation in the opponent's eyes. By the time they get married, they realize to their horror that they are not comfortable with each other as much as they were before. Some try to rekindle the spark and succeed. Some let the ego take the lead and get divorced. I should also mention that many are intelligent enough to maintain their connection and spark all through their battle and come out of marriage much more confident, matured and successful. Just do not let the spark die. 'Cos when you realize that you changed your mind to marry someone (your parents chose) who turned out to be a a*****e, it would be too late to go back and fix things up.

The Crazy Buggers!!

This is a weird post outlining my weird encounter with the weird 'n'th kind - the BED BUGS!! Affectionately called as 'mootta poochi' and 'mootta' by Tamizhians and Malayalis, these little bugs can make the strongest being on the earth to whimper.

USA is very famous for its Bed Bug infestation. Where ever you go, you will find them unless and until you are careful enough to take good precautions to keep them at bay. Checking a hotel room for infestation or washing and drying all the garments in extra hot water after a trip are the basic measures to prevent an infestation. Though it might be awkward, avoiding the people who already has an infestation will help too (meaning, better not let them into your house). But what will happen if you do get bed bugs? Well, I found that out first hand a couple of months ago.

Even though bed bugs used to make a grand appearance every summer in Buffalo, NY., I was lucky enough to steer clear of it. I always washed my clothes in extra hot water and was literally extra careful. But my luck ran out when I moved to California in search of employment. Since cheap housing was scarce in Bay Area, I moved into the very first house I saw. The deal was $ 550 / month with all the utilities and internet included - cheap when compared to the Rentals in Bay area and I got my own room. The house was near Lawrence Expressway in Monroe (in Santa Clara) near to public transport and shops that sell Indian food. It was perfect, or atleast that is what I thought. Until I learnt about the infestation.

It all started one day, when I started to itch like hell and upon examining the itching spots, there were lumps of three (a classic bed bug bite-breakfast, lunch and dinner). When I reported my finding to the Land lady (who was staying with me in the same house), her answer was like I got the bugs to her house and her house was clean till then. Then I realized I am being bitten only when I am in the living room and not my room. Funny that she practically lived in the Living room. And one fine day, I found bite marks on me when I woke up and realized the dreaded bugs have reached my room as well (later I found out that someone *wink wink* was snooping around my room when I was out of town for a couple of days). So I started browsing on the bugs and read on how to find them; what to look for and the like.
From Google. The black spots are the fecal matter of the bugs.
The first clue that I had bugs were the bite marks I started getting. Then on close inspection, I found small blood stains at the foot of my bed where I had squished the bugs (in my sleep) that had just finished its meal (my blood!!). So armed with my C++ book, I started inspecting the bed cover and started finding the fecal trail of the bugs. When I lifted the cover off, I found over 10 colonies of bugs (more than 100 bugs). I started squished each and every bug with my book. I removed the mattress, inspected on the underneath and killed all the bugs I could see and placed a frantic call to the Land Lady who was not in the house at the moment. She was more interested in other people not knowing that there were bugs in the house than getting rid of it.

I had a peaceful sleep that night as I had killed the bugs in my room (except the eggs and may be the little ones) and had washed my bed sheets in hot water and dried it in the highest heat setting. The lady came the next day and indirectly mentioned that the bugs were only in my room. So, I made her sit down and started hunting in the furniture in the Living room. And I found a colony with in minutes and what happened next was the most worst thing. She made me clean the whole living room (3 full couches that were in the luxurious elaborate Indian design with lots of seams and closed spaces) while she sat in the room doing her own things. She could have atleast helped me a bit given the fact that I never use the Living room and always kept to my room. But no, she did not. After all this happened, she threw me out of the house saying that she is going on an emergency trip into India with out even a 2 weeks notice. And that proved to be the best thing that happened to me. I found an another place in Bay area which became a loving stress free (and bug free) environment. I did make sure that I washed and dried everything and packed them in plastic bags before I moved into the new house.

So here are the tips and tricks on how to handle a small infestation:
  1. Basic way of identification is the bite marks that always appear in groups of 3.
  2. When you start seeing these bites (that itch a lot), it is time to start hunting. You might also see some blood marks as you might have rolled over in sleep and would have accidentally squished the bug that had just finished its meal.
  3. A lot of website recommend waking up at around 5 AM and hunting them down with a flash light. But this is ineffective unless you have a very big infestation. Also, these bugs are fast runners and they will escape in no time.
  4. You will have better chances of finding and killing them if you hunt them during the day, when they will be fast asleep. In this way, when you find them, you will be able to kill them before they realize the hunting and run away.
  5. The bugs are usually colorless or light brown to yellowish color if they have not drunk blood yet. After a meal, they will be dark red to light red in color.
  6. Since they are flat, they can hide almost anywhere. They are usually found very close to the places where the humans are, like, mattress, couch, chairs, etc. But as the colony grows, they migrate to all the places in the house.
  7. They follow the smell of blood and carbon-di-oxide. As we exhale carbon-di-aoxide, they can easily zero in on us. For example, if you have bugs in your bed and you start to sleep in the couch, they will follow you to couch too.
  8. Try to wear full sleeve tops, full pants and socks when you sleep so as to limit the areas they bite. When I did this, I got the bites in my neck and chin. So resort to this measure only after you have hunted down the first round of bugs.
  9. Always look into the cracks in the furnitures, plump cushions, the seams for the bugs. They will usually be in clusters. There will be fecal stains around the colonies. Usually there will be one colony that is bigger than the rest and I read online that the colony belongs to the queen bug. Make sure you kill that colony completely.
  10. If you dont want to squish them, try IsoPropyl Alcohol 90%. You can find this in any drug store like Walgreens and is a lot cheaper than other bed bug killers out there. Mix the IsoPropyl alcohol  with water in 6:1 ratio. Spray it on the bugs and they should die right away. Be careful as the Alcohol mix will harm the varnished surfaces.
  11. Other problem with IsoPropyl alcohol is that it is highly flammable and people have burned down their houses when trying to get rid of the bugs. Never use it in your car and park the car in the Sun with the doors and windows closed. Also, never wash the clothes that you have soaked with alcohol immediately.
  12. To stop the bugs hanging on to your clothes, put them in a plastic bag and spray the clothes with IsoPropyl alcohol+Water mix and tie the bag up tightly.
  13. Store your clothes in plastic bags as the bugs have difficulties in climbing up the surface of the plastic covers.
  14. Always wash your clothes in the hottest water you can and dry them in the highest heat setting possible.
  15. To completely get rid of the infestation, you need to hunt for the bugs every 5-7 days as you would have missed the eggs and really small bugs, the first time you hunted.
If I come across any more ways to get rid of an infestation, I will update my entry.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention about the lady who threw me out. She wanted to get a higher rent for her place and wanted me to leave as she already made an agreement on rent with me and also I understood that the bugs were already there and I did not bring them. Two months after she through me out, she is now asking me to come back with a condition that I should pay more rent than I used to pay before. I am not crazy to do that as she also has conditions like I should not cook everyday nor bath everyday so as to save on utilities.

Thus I got rid of the crazy buggers (both the insect and the human) and set foot in a heavenly abode, the new house...

P.S: Do look into comments for more useful tips from the readers..

Two extreme themes and Yet...

I am still going on with my employment search. To escape (more of adding spice to) from the daily routine of applying to open positions and reading and updating my knowledge, I have started to listen to random songs on Youtube. I just wanted to share 2 such songs I stumbled on and when ever I hear them, I feel as if I can see me singing them (Okay, I am kidding). We all have those songs or those films to which we can relate to. We will feel as if the song or story is about us, our life. That is what I felt with these two.

First song is 'Cant be tamed' by Miley Cyrus. I have seen Hannah Montana and hence know all the lime light Miley carries around. I never thought that Miley will come out with a strong song as all her songs used to soft and mostly melodies. But this just blew me off. Especially the words. At this time when some people want me to change track from my passion of Networks, I wanted to scream at them to stop judging my abilities. And this song said just that. Singing along to it lets me to let go of my build up steam and Miley, THANKS!! Many people are saying that this is a copy of Lindsay Lohan's work, Rumors. I have heard and seen Rumor and there is nothing similar about them. True that both say what other people are trying to do to the lead role. Yet they both are as different as the land and sky.

The next song is by Miley as well, named 'The Climb'

A song telling me to push and try and try and try even harder till I get to the top. After some months of employment search, I recently had to accept the fact that the candidates can be rejected just because the interviewer is not an expert in position requirements. Though I felt angry and sad, I pulled myself through it. This song, tells it perfectly. This song may not be the perfect song for the situation. But I stumbled on this by chance and instantly connected to the lyrics.

These two songs are two extreme emotions yet it feels as if they are the exact mixture of emotions I am feeling. And I know that there are people out there who hate Miley. Well, one cannot always be a kid with Disney. She grew up and you just have to accept it. As for the parents who are saying that Miley is a role model for your kids, please!! You have to bring up your kids yourself. Dont hate on my blog. Go somewhere else!

2 things that stole my heart recently..

I love music.. But I am more of a bathroom singer and stick to listening to them when in public.. And I try to hear as many new songs as possible (from different languages, cultures & countries) so that I can experience all the emotions and feelings connected to music.. Guess I am going overboard (overbored??). But I heard 2 short songs in Tamil with 2 different extreme emotions and they simply blew me off..

I fell in love with VTV songs as I always feel something beyond my usual emotions when I listen to them. ARR's music in VTV made me feel the love as I have not experienced it, with his music and bgm (not that his other compositions are bad). VTV holds a special place.. But then I heard these 2, and I have added these to the VTV list..

1. Paarvai vali sumanthal, mounam athai purinthidume
Nenjam munu munuthaal, nesam athai unarnthidume
    Naanaa naanthaana- Maarinen, Vaasal odinen
    Maanam paaraamal- Suriayn engum thedinen
    Megam theeyai pozhinthidum nerame
    Manam vidiyal inithida..
    Kannil thookkam ponathe, Yeno.. Yeno..
    Acham thoondil poduthe, Yeno.. Yeno..

Film: Achamundu Achamundu.

2. Yaarum paarkatha medayil - Kaathal saalaiyin oramai
Naalum naalume odinen - Ellai illaamal..
Unnai kandathum mayanginen - Nenjam ketkaamal
Kaathal sollave thayanginen - Yetru kolvaaya??
Yaarum paarkatha velayil - Kaathal saalaiyin oramai
Naalum naalume odinen - Ellai illaamal..
Kaathal nenjile aasaiyaai - Megam thooruthe saaralai
Sernthu nanayave neeyume - Kooda varuvaayo???
Serial: Kanaa Kaanum Kaalangal: Oru Kalloriyin Kathai.

The first reason I like these both is the fact that they are really short when compared to the songs in Tamil movies or Serials for that matter. Serials usually have loose-thanamaana-ratham-kothuchifying-pazhi- vaangifying stupid songs and when one or two of these refreshing ones come along, they become a hit (remember Kaathalika Neramillai's title song? Ennai thedi kaadhal ennum vaarthai anuppu..).

I have no idea as to whether these 2 songs are hit. But when u see the movie and the serial, these 2 pretty much sum up the way the lead roles feel in such a short span. You just have to hear this song and you can say what is happening in the whole movie without seeing it (atleast the gist ofcourse). I am being redundant, but I seriously envy the people who wrote these. They gonna stay with me forever..

For the sake of non-tamil people, here is the rough translation,

1. My silence can understand the pain concealed in your eyes
My heart can feel the frantic murmurs of your heart
Oh, is it me or not? I have changed and have started to run
Leaving my pride, I am now searching for the silver lining
It is the time for the cloud to spew fire (metaphor: meaning that the danger is near)
All I need now is dawn (metaphor: wanting the trouble to end)
Why have I lost my sleep?
Why is fear fishing for me?

2. When none is seeing me, in the corner of 'Love' street
I ran and rand continuously, without a boundry
I melted when I saw you, with out listening to my heart
I deliberated expressing my love, Oh, will you accept it?
When none is seeing me, in the corner of 'Love' street

I ran and rand continuously, without a boundry
In my heart filled with love, it is raining affection
I wanna get drenched in that rain with you, will you come?

I am sorry that I cannot link the songs here as they are not online (in Youtube). I guess it did not get the reach it needed. But still, wonderful compositions..

Wanna Feel Ashamed???

Indian politician and s/o Ms. Sonia Gandhi is Mr. Rahul Gandhi. He was arrested in UP in a so-called staged act and he released a press report saying, "I feel ashamed to call myself an INDIAN after seeing what has happened here in UP".

As a reply to the press release, a daring letter was written by an IIT'an to Rahul Gandhi. I recently happened upon this letter and wanted to do my best to spread it out. Hence I am posting it on my blog. I hope India becomes clean of the money laundering criminals who term themselves as politicians. The letter is as follows..

NITIN GUPTA (RIVALDO)

B. Tech, IIT Bombay

Dear Rahul,

YOU REALLY WANT TO FEEL ASHAMED???????

But don't be disappointed, I would give you ample reasons to feel

ashamed... You really want to feel Ashamed..?

* First Ask Pranav Mukherjee, Why isn't he giving the details of the account holders in the Swiss Banks.

* Ask your Mother, Who is impeding the Investigation against

Hasan Ali?

* Ask her, Who got 60% Kickbacks in the 2G Scam ?

* Kalamadi is accused of a Few hundred Crores, Who Pocketed the

Rest in the Common Wealth Games?

* Ask Praful Patel what he did to the Indian Airlines? Why did

Air India let go of the Profitable Routes ?

* Why should the Tax Payer pay for the Air India losses, when

you intend to eventually DIVEST IT ANYWAY!!!

* Also, You People can't run an Airline Properly. How can we

expect you to run the Nation?

* Ask Manmohan Singh. Why/What kept him quiet for so long?

* Are Kalmadi and A Raja are Scapegoats to save Big Names like

Harshad Mehta was in the 1992 Stock Market Scandal ?

* Who let the BHOPAL GAS TRAGEDY Accused go Scot Free? (20,000

People died in that Tragedy)

* Who ordered the State Sponsored Massacre of SIKHS in 84?

* Please read more about, How Indira Gandhi pushed the Nation

Under Emergency in 76-77, after the HC declared her election to Lok

Sabha Void!

* WHY ONLY HIGHLIGHT THIS ARREST?

Dear Rahul, to refresh your memory, you were arrested/detained by the

FBI the BOSTON Airport in September 2001.

You were carrying with you $ 1,60,000 in Cash. You couldn't explain why

you were carrying so much Cash.

(Incidentally He was with his Columbian girlfriend Veronique Cartelli,

ALLEGEDLY, the Daughter of Drug Mafia. 9 HOURS he was kept at the

Airport. Later then freed on the intervention of the then Prime Minister

Mr. Vajpayee.. FBI filed an equivalent of an FIR in US and released him.

When FBI was asked to divulge the information, by Right/Freedom to

Information Activists about the reasons Rahul was arrested ...

FBI asked for a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from Rahul Gandhi.

So Subramaniyam Swami wrote a Letter to Rahul Gandhi, " If you have

NOTHING to HIDE, Give us the Permission"

HE NEVER REPLIED!)

Why did that arrest not make Headlines Rahul? You could have gone to the

Media and told, "I am ashamed to call myself an INDIAN?".

Or is it that, you only do like to highlight Symbolic Arrests (like in

UP) and not Actual Arrests (In BOSTON)

Kindly Clarify.....In any case, you want to feel ashamed, Read Along...

YOUR MOTHER'S SO CALLED SACRIFICE OF GIVING UP PRIME MINISTERSHIP in 2004.

According to a Provision in the Citizenship Act, A Foreign National who

becomes a Citizen of India, is bounded by the same restrictions,

which an Indian would face, If he/she were to become a Citizen of Italy.

(Condition based on principle of reciprocity)

Now Since you can't become a PM in Italy, Unless you are born there.

Likewise an Italian Citizen can't become Indian PM,

unless He/She is not born here!

Dr. SUBRAMANIYAM SWAMI (The Man who Exposed the 2G Scam) sent a letter

to the PRESIDENT OF INDIA bringing the same to his Notice.

PRESIDENT OF INDIA sent a letter to Sonia Gandhi to this effect, 3:30

PM, May 17th, 2004.

Swearing Ceremony was scheduled for 5 PM the same Day. Manmohan Singh

was brought in the Picture at the last moment to Save Face!!

Rest of the SACRIFICE DRAMA which she choreographed was an EYE WASH!!!

In fact Sonia Gandhi had sent, 340 letters, each signed by different MP

to the PRESIDENT KALAM, supporting her candidacy for PM.

One of those letters read, "I Sonia Gandhi, elected Member from Rai

Bareli, hereby propose Sonia Gandhi as Prime Minister."

So SHE was Pretty INTERESTED! Until She came to know the Facts! She

didn't make any Sacrifice, It so happens that SONIA GANDHI

couldn't have become the PM of INDIA that time.

You could be Ashamed about that Dear Rahul!! One Credential Sonia G had,

Even that was a HOAX!

THINK ABOUT YOURSELF.

You go to Harvard on Donation Quota. ( Hindujas Gave HARVARD 11 million

dollars the same year, when Rajiv Gandhi was in Power)

Then you are expelled in 3 Months/ You Dropped out in 3 Months....

(Sadly Manmohan Singh wasn't the Dean of Harvard that time, else

you might have had a chance... Too Bad, there is only one Manmohan

Singh!)

Then Why did you go about lying about being Masters in Economics from

Harvard .. before finally taking it off your Resume upon questioning

by Dr. SUBRAMANIYAM SWAMI (The Gentlemen who exposed the 2G Scam)

At St. Stephens.. You Fail the Hindi Exam. Hindi Exam!!!

And you are representing the Biggest Hindi Speaking State of the

Country?

SONIA GANDHI's EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Sonia G gave a sworn affidavit as a Candidate that She Studied English

at University of Cambridge

According to Cambridge University, there is no such Student EVER! Upon

a Case by Dr. Subramaniyam Swami filed against her, She subsequently

Dropped the CAMBRIDGE CREDENTIAL from her Affidavit.

Sonia Gandhi didn't even pass High School. She is just 5th class Pass!

In this sense, She shares a common Educational Background with her 2G

Partner

In Crime, Karunanidhi.

You Fake your Educational Degree, Your Mother Fakes her Educational

Degree. And then you go out saying, " We want Educated Youth into

Politics!"

WHY LIE ABOUT EDUCATIONAL CREDENTIALS?

Not that Education is a Prerequisite for being a great Leader, but then

you shouldn't have lied about your qualifications!

You could feel a little ashamed about Lying about your Educational

Qualifications. You had your reasons I know, Because in India, WE

RESPECT

EDUCATION!

But who cares about Education, When you are a Youth Icon!!

YOUTH ICON

You traveled in the Local Train for the first time at the Age of 38.

You went to some Villages as a part of Election Campaign. And You won a

Youth Icon!! ... That's why You are my Youth Icon.

For 25 Million People travel by Train Every day. You are the First

Person to win a Youth Icon for boarding a Train.

Thousands of Postmen go to remotest of Villages. None of them have yet

gotten a Youth Icon. You were neither YOUNG Nor ICONIC!

Still You became a Youth Icon beating Iconic and Younger Contenders like

RAHUL DRAVID.

SURNAME

Shakespeare said, What's in a Name?

Little did he knew, It's all in the Name, Especially the Surname!

Speaking of Surname, Sir DO YOU REALLY RESPECT GANDHI, OR IS IT JUST TO

CASH IN ON THE GOODWILL OF MAHATMA?

Because the Name on your Passport is RAUL VINCI. Not RAHUL GANDHI..

May be if you wrote your Surname as Gandhi, you would have experienced,

what Gandhi feels like, LITERALLY ( Pun Intended)

You People don't seem to use Gandhi much, except when you are fighting

Elections. ( There it makes complete sense).

Imagine fighting elections by the Name Raul Vinci...

You use the name GANDHI at will and then say, " Mujhe yeh YUVRAJ shabd

Insulting lagta hai! Kyonki aaj Hindustan mein Democracy hai, aur is

shabd

ka koi matlab nahin hai! YUVRAJ, Itna hi Insulting lagta hai, to lad lo

RAUL VINCI ke Naam se!!! Jin Kisano ke saath photo khinchate ho woh bhi

isliye entertain karte hain ki GANDHI ho.. RAUL VINCI bol ke Jao... Ghar

mein nahin ghusaenge!!!

You could feel ashamed for your Double Standards.

YOUTH INTO POLITICS.

Now You want Youth to Join Politics.

I say First you Join Politics. Because you haven't Joined Politics. You

have Joined a Family Business.

First you Join Politics. Win an Election fighting as RAUL VINCI and Not

Rahul Gandhi, then come and ask the youth and the Educated Brass for

more

involvement in Politics.

Also till then, Please don't give me examples of Sachin Pilot and Milind

Deora and Naveen Jindal as youth who have joined Politics. They are not

Politicians. They Just happen to be Politicians.

Much Like Abhishek Bachchan and other Star Sons are not Actors. They

just happen to be Actors (For Obvious Reasons)

So, We would appreciate if you stop requesting the Youth to Join

Politics till you establish your credentials...

WHY WE CAN'T JOIN POLITICS!

Rahul Baba, Please understand, Your Father had a lot of money in your

Family account ( in Swiss Bank) when he died.

Ordinary Youth has to WORK FOR A LIVING. YOUR FAMILY just needs to

NETWORK FOR A LIVING

If our Father had left thousands of Crores with us, We might consider

doing the same. But we have to Work. Not just for ourselves.

But also for you. So that we can pay 30% of our Income to the Govt.

which can then be channelized to the Swiss Banks and your Personal

Accounts under

some Pseudo Names.

So Rahul, Please don't mind If the Youth doesn't Join Politics.

We are doing our best to fund your Election Campaigns and your Chopper

Trips to the Villages.

Somebody has to Earn the Money that Politicians Feed On.

NO WONDER YOU ARE NOT GANDHIs. YOU ARE SO CALLED GANDHIs!!

Air India, KG Gas Division, 2G, CWG, SWISS BANK Account Details... Hasan

Ali, KGB., FBI Arrest..

You want to feel ashamed..?

Feel Ashamed for what the First Family of Politics has been reduced

to... A Money Laundering Enterprise.

NO WONDER YOU ARE NOT GANDHI'S BY BLOOD. GANDHI is an adopted Name. For

Indira didn't marry Mahatma Gandhi's Son.

For even if you had one GENE OF GANDHI JI in your DNA. YOU WOULDN'T HAVE

BEEN PLAGUED BY SUCH 'POVERTY OF AMBITION'

(Ambition of only EARNING MONEY)

You really want to feel Ashamed?

Feel Ashamed for what you ' SO CALLED GANDHI'S' have done to MAHATMA'S

Legacy..

I so wish GANDHI JI had Copyrighted his Name!

Meanwhile, I would request Sonia Gandhi to change her name to $ONIA

GANDHI, and you could replace

the 'R' in RAHUL/RAUL by the New Rupee Symbol!!!

RAUL VINCI : I am ashamed to call myself an Indian.

Even we are ashamed to call you so!

P.S: Popular Media is either bought or blackmailed, controlled to

Manufacture Consent! My Guess is Social Media is still a Democratic

Platform.

(Now they are trying to put legislations to censor that too!!).

Meanwhile, Let's ask these questions, for we deserve some Answers.

YOURS SINCERELY

You cannot wake up someone who is pretending to sleep!

Today is day 12 of Anna's fast. By coincidence, I did not get to eat much the whole day till 8 in the night when I had to walk 4 miles to find a restaurant to sit down and order. At that point of time, all I wanted was food and nothing else was on my mind. When I took the first bite, I felt so bad and guilty as Anna image suddenly flashed in my mind. He has been fasting for 12 days now and I cannot go through one whole day of hunger without a blasting headache. He is really a great man. And he is doing it for the nation, not for himself. That in itself makes him a saint (a freshly minted saint - Arundathi style: How can you even utter such a phrase Ms. Arundathi?).

I now remember the lines of Mahatma Gandhi.. 'First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, they you win!'. We are at the third stage now. This is not the time to give up and go back to how things have been. They have started fighting. The lathi charges and flash arrests are increasing. I saw on NEWS that a lady committed suicide for Anna. If we give up now, we will forever be the underdogs of the corrupt, cunning jackals. They have been creating FB pages against Anna and have been trying to thwart any attempt we make to correct our way of life. They simply don't want us to change, lest they would loose all their luxuries.

And about the great Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, who is talking in the Parliament at this very moment I am typing this: What are you thinking Sir? Instead of discussing Lokpal bill, you are giving us a life history of Anna Hazare? I would like to let you know that Parliament is not like answering Anna University question paper. You will not get points if you ramble on about some loosely related topic when asked about something else. And get this Sir. All the younger generation (who never knew what happened in the Parliament) are watching the debate right now. Be rest assured that you wont be getting any votes in the near future. You wont be getting mine anyway.

And Honorable speaker Ms. Meira Kumar: Maam, why is it that you always speak as if you are reading for a pre-written notebook; be it English or Hindi?? Is it because you have stage fright or because the notes have been prepared by someone else (wink wink)? In case you have stage fright, how in the heaven's world did you were shortlisted to become a speaker (unless the one who shortlisted you wanted you to be silent - in the moments of truth)? If it is indeed prepared someone else, is not it your duty to be unbiased? Did you swear in the name of God? Hmmm.. And why is it maam, that you always have a smile even when addressing the haywire house and never make eye contact ans always look like you are reading what you are speaking? I can see that you have been member of Parliament before. Please maam.. Help India to become a better place to live. One more thing, when you were shouting today, you sounded more like a high-school teacher. No offense meant.

Manmohan ji??? I saw in FB, in Anna Hazare page, a member had posted that he went to hospital and there was this poster about mobile phones.. 'Please keep your phones in Manmohan (Silent) mode'. Enough said.

When you see the proceeding in the Parliament, please look at each and every face carefully. When you see the faces of the people who are opposing Anna, you will see a fear in their eyes and their faces are set taut as if they have just received a bad news and are trying their best to keep a straight face. Beware! They don't want the bill because they are so much used to their luxuries that they do not want to give them up.

My heart is with Anna ji as he goes through another day and I will be updating more often as long as the freedom struggle is raging on. My post today is helter-skelter and they are just the way my thought stream was flowing on.

Food for thought:

The Third war of Indian Independence...

I am still searching for employment and hence I was not updating my blog. But I was seeing a Gujarati News channel today and saw the Lathi charge on the Anna Team, well! That is the limit. Next thing I know is that I am sitting and blogging. This is for my India and Team Anna..

When I started to USA for my studies, I had started hating the corruption in India. I am ashamed that I had to bribe to get my passport on time. The reason? They had mentioned my sex as male instead of female and the mistake was not mine. I had to take my GRE in less than a month and I had no other go than to bribe to get a new passport. I also had to bribe to get my Driver's License even though I was the only candidate who finished all the tests with ease on that particular test day (I got my NY state license on my very first attempt!). I could have rebelled against the corrupt officials. But I sought the easy way- I bribed. I felt that I cannot change India alone and no one would stand behind me even if I rebel.

I wanted to do something for my country and I joined a start-up NGO and started helping around. But as the NGO grew, it became corrupt as well. I found out that not all the money collected were spent for the people. And that was the time I started my Grad school and I was more than happy to leave India. And stronger laws in USA enticed me and I yearned for the day when India will have strong laws like here. India has all the money it needs to develop with the speed of light. Do you believe it?
Yes! We have enough money to develop ourselves and lend to others. We have enough money. Only difference is that they are all black. It is not with India but in the pockets of Corrupt officials. What India should have done when they were brought in to light? PM should have ordered to arrest the officials, viz., Raja, Kalmadi, Kanimozhi and thousands more. Did he do that? Nope. Even CBI looked on when these cunning officials (read criminals) lead a royal life in the country where thousands go without food everyday. For God's sake, the case went to Supreme court and some of the big time scammers were locked in jail (read: small royal guest house). They enjoy separate 'star' rated rooms unlike other prisoners and relish in brunches with wardons and daily visits and expensive gifts from their relatives & followers. Nope! It does not sound like prison to me.

And what can I do? I cannot go there and shout against it. I know what they will do. They will imprison me and silently kill me. No one will know and only my family will grieve. But then Anna Hazare came. Just like Mahatma Gandhiji. He went on a fast in order to enforce Jan Lokpal Bill in April. He aimed to build the nation against corruption. He wanted to start another 'Quit India' movement. Only this time, it is against our own people: Corrupt people!

And the Honorable Govt tried everything to distract the attention from Anna. The corrupt media covered IPL rather than a man fasting to death. They added all the glitters, spices and everything nice to the things other than Anna and tried to block him from view. But the man did not budge. He just sat there, silently, fasting to death. Then the magic happened. The people started noticing him. For us, who had been killed and stampeded upon by the powerful, Anna looked like the string of hope we could cling on. I have heard how the nation walked behind Gandhiji when he went on streets. But I saw the motion for the first time in my life. I felt that I am an Indian after a very long time. I felt the pride and a lot more emotions I never experienced before. We Indians blindly felt for the hands of such a great man and found solace in his silent determination. I have read 'kathiyindri rathamindri yutham ondru varuguthu'* but I am seeing it now. Yes! The third war of Indian Independence has started.

People rallying for Anna in New Delhi (the capital of India)
Govt was astonished at the support for Anna. All it could do to stop the movement was to accept the Jan Lokpal bill and Anna ended the fast. But when Jan Lokpal was sent to the houses to be passed, it was not even a bit similar to what was proposed. It was crafted and modifies to as to suit the needs of the politicians rather than the tax paying nation. Anna started to rebel again and declared that he will go on fast from August 16th. Govt did not want that to happen. So the police arrested Anna at his home on 15th. His crime? He wanted to go on a fast. But the same Govt is still deliberating on whether hang the Mumbai attack terrorist 'Kasab' or not. The terrorist is sitting in a 5 star rates prison and Anna goes to Tihar. On seeing all this, what am I supposed to think of my own country? People who wants the nation to be prosperous are imprisoned in a unhygienic way while the people who kill the Indians and fill their pockets with Taxpayer's money and let India to rot are given royal treatment with expensive brunches and security? So, one should better be a criminal in India rather than an honest person? Don't you think that you are sending a wrong message to your kids?

The Anna movement is gaining tremendous support now. But there are people who are condemning him. If you are reading Indian papers, you would have read about Arundathi and Nilekani openly saying that Anna is wrong. So, to get a clear view, a fellow blogger has blogged on it and I am linking the post here.

http://clearvisor.wordpress.com/2011/08/23/why-i%E2%80%99d-rather-be-anna-than-arundhati/

The link is for all the Indians who does not know what is Anna lobbying for. Do not blindly oppose someone before you know what it is. If you are opposing Anna, you are either (a) a powerful person, (b) have hoards of black money, (c) have never had your rights taken off because of corruption. But you guys constitute a measly 1-2% of Indian population (I wonder how come you guys swindled 200% of India's wealth- My God, you are skilled). But I belong to the 98% and I want my rights back. I am part of 'India Against Corruption' We are not rebelling, we are peacefully protesting. There is a difference.

I do not know as to whether any of the corrupt officials will read it but I want to ask the police men about something. Why the hell are you guys having a lathi charge on a silent protest? They are not burning buses or houses or killing people. They are not even throwing stones. They are just parading, shouting slogans. Are you not a part of India? Don't your kids need a corruption free India? Why in the heaven are you beating up the public in the silent protest? Are you trying to pose like heroes and loyal under dogs to the corrupt Govt and get a share in the black market? Just know this guys.. Resources accumulated in the wrong way will never help you out. So quit supporting corruption and start doing something good for YOUR own country. Join hands with Anna and fight for a clean India. I pray the Almighty that our 'Quit India' movement succeeds.

* With out knife (weapons), without blood, a war is brewing up.

Update1: Govt is taking down Facebook pages supporting Anna Hazare..
Update2: PM made a statement that we can check the properties in his and his family name and then understand that they clean.. But Manmohanji.. We both know, who we are mentioning when talking about corruption..
